University near Thai capital Bangkok is home to one of Asia’s largest rooftop farms

The garden, on the university’s Rangsit campus just outside the capital Bangkok, was designed to evoke images of rice fields in the rural north of Thailand. The hidden urban farm is also meant to develop technology that can be integrated into green cities of the future.

Internship 2020 - University of South Australia

Interning at Landprocess, I have seen my professional and cultural skills flourish. I was an architecture intern for the duration of 8 weeks. During my time with Landprocess I grew and developed my communication and technical skills through a wide range of hands-on tasks and projects including site visits, designing and written communication. The internship was challenging — but in all the best ways. It was a fantastic way to continue to learn and diversify my skill set after graduating from architecture school. The internship goes beyond the traditional educational model of the university, and pushes you to be creative and innovative. One of the highlights from my time with Landprocess was the collaborative nature of the workplace culture. The friendships and connections formed during my time in Bangkok will stay with me for years to come. This program was a fantastic way to really experience Thai culture, all while furthering my professional career. I am incredibly grateful to have been mentored by Kotchakorn and her team, the work they’re doing is truly inspiring.

Internship 2019 - The University of Hong Kong

During my summer internship in LANDPROCESS as a landscape architecture student, I was involved in various community and flood resilient projects. Interning and learning from Teacher Kotch and her team is a valuable experience to conceptualise and visualize their vision of Thailand’s environmental future to real landscape projects with vision injected in. This really widened by horizon to my design study and even future research directions. On top of professional practice, Landprocess is a warm and passionate team willing to spread and educate. Through the collaborative working culture, we are able to share ideas and learn from each other freely. It is a fantastic journey of a lot of laughter and fun from cultural exchange with Thais and international students.

Internship 2019 - Rottedam University of Applied Science

During my nineteen weeks with Landprocess as water management student I have been mostly working on my graduation project together with some minor tasks for other projects. Although the language barrier complicated communication, all co-workers were always open to share their knowledge and advice. Together with other interns, both Thai and international, multiple site-visits and trips throughout the country were organized by Landprocess. Also the daily group lunch is a convivial break of the long working days. The work ethic and passion however, of all co-workers and Kotchakorn is inspiring and creates a rich learning environment. Finally the weekly Friday presentations give a nice look into the progress of the co-workers wrapping-up the week. After all a professionally and personally educative experience!

Summer 2016 - Thammasat University, Thailand

" In the last summer break I have a chance to internship at Landprocess that open my mind to the world of knowledge. It totally different from the classroom in university. Work over here teach me how actually work would be especially meeting and went out to meet customer. I have learn how to emphasize and responsibility on work more than assignment from my teachers because this is a beginning through the real construction not only in the paper that I have been done before. Therefore I would like to say thank you to Landprocess (Master Kotchakorn Voraakhom and teams) for let me have a chance to internship and got so many precious and incredible experience"
